Hi, hello!
I’m a designstudent based in Copenhagen, currently finishing my bachelors in Visual Communications at The Royal Academy. I was born in Belgium but moved after four years to Stockholm, Sweden where I grew up. In spring 2020, I moved to Denmark to pursue my dream of working within design.
I am occupied by the ‘what’, ‘how’ & ‘why’ - analysing and questioning how the world works and looks today in order to create and improve designs that better cater to different people, contexts and the future. Putting this into the perspective of my work as a designer,
I like seeing design as a conduit between data and empathy, a means to translate complex information into simplified yet compelling visual narratives. My aim is therefor, to bring clarity
and purpose to
every project. I care about combining my critical thinking and penchant for research with an enthusiastic and playful approach to any design process. This is to contribute to open and collaborative teamwork, which I consider essential in crafting designs that are both relevant and sustainable.
Interests: Information- & human-centered, 'caring' design. Layout- & editorial design. Concept-design &
brand-identities.

Being taught general design process and method subjects, design strategy, design anthropology, and user involvement with, amongst others, co-designer methods. Also including history of design and the design concept’s development, technology – and social understanding and project leadership, as well as the classical artistic disciplines such as composition, drawing, form, colour, and materials science.

Højskoleophold, Visual Communication
The Scandinavian Design School
A three month long course that gives an introduction into the graphic design disciplines and what visual communication might include. The school also stage short art-workshops, held by external artisans, teaching their trade.
